I WAS BORN IN PARADISE IN 1964. MY FAMILY HAD BEEN ON THE RIDGE SINCE THE 1920S. SO I GUESS YOU COULD SAY I WAS PRETTY INVESTED IN OUR TOWN AND COUNTY. WENT TO SCHOOL AND GRADUATED IN 1982 PARADISE HIGH. WHEN THE FIRE STARTED I LEFT IMMEDIATLY AS I KNEW I WOULD BE GRIDLOCKED.
